As We Depart   We depart from this place. The door opens, The smell of rain enters in. What has been between us rises to meet it in the air   Fire mixing with rain, breath turning to honey in my mouth, your life has touched mine. We have been, for a moment, here, now, with one another.   May we pause only for one unfolding breath, taste this fire and the sweet breath of hope, as we dream this one dream born in this moment together.   And before we depart into rain mixed with fire the pearl we have given returns, and lies glowing in the palm of our hand.
