Summer 2008 Schedule
Meeting Dates: Sunday, July 20th; Sunday, August.17th; Saturday, August 23rd; Saturday, September 20th 4:00 p.m. arrival time (with the exception of Saturday, August 23rd at 7:00 p.m., and September 20th at 2:00 p.m.) Potluck contribution requested for a 4:30 p.m. light dinner (Please no chips or dips) Please try to be on time so we can start playing! Dinner: 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Community Announcements 5:30 p.m. to 5: 45 p.m.
July 20th Meeting
Our July meeting will be held at Greenhaven. Please bring your flutes and percussion! As usual, we will have an open mic and sound effects available. Please call Stephanie at (503) 846-1755 for directions or info.

Movie Night! Saturday, August 23rd, 7:00 p.m.
Back by popular demand, we will again be having Movie Night! As usual, we will choose the film when people arrive. We will start the movie promptly at 7:00 p.m. Coffee and iced tea will be provided; if you have anything special you would like, please bring it! Stephanie will provide the popcorn. Special Meeting – Annual Picnic at Oakhaven, WA
September 13th
Our Annual Picnic will be held at Oakhaven, Bob and Jean Hart’s property, just outside of Lyle, Washington. We will be having a BBQ, so please bring your favourite dishes to share. During the festivities, there will be lots of flute playing and socializing. You are all invited to stay overnight and camp if you wish. Please RSVP with Stephanie if you plan to attend. Perhaps we can get together and have carpool groups. Bring along your flutes and percussion! Further details and maps will be provided. Please mark August 9th on your calendars for the Yard Sale at the Native Fellowship. Don’t forget to check the website for new Gallery photos, links, recordings, books, Artisans, etc.! If you have Flute Prayer requests, please contact Stephanie at (503) 846-1755. Please check our website, www.Cascadiaflutecircle.org, regularly for the most up-to-date info. If you would like to host a Flute Circle, please contact Stephanie. We have patches available for flute bags, clothing, etc. We also have vinyl logo stickers for car windows, flute cases, etc. Cost is $5.00 per sticker; $10.00 per patch. Support Cascadia and put one up! Please see Stephanie. As always, the Suggestion Box is open, so keep those suggestions coming! Don’t forget to check the website frequently for special events and announcements. That’s the news—film at 11!
